This review is overdue. I've purchased 2 cars from Spreen Mazda. A Mazda 6 in 2021 and a Mazda 3 in 2023. The Mazda 6 transaction was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had, and I've purchased a lot of cars. The Mazda 3 purchase took a bit longer because the car wasn't at the dealership when we purchased it. But Jimmy did a great job at problem solving. My name is Miguel and I just want to say these guys at Spreen Honda are nothing but liars. They sent me a written quote with an out the door price and they decided not yo honor it. I want to say that my new car sales experience with Spreen Mazda was top-notch. I drove in from Cathedral City as Palm Springs Mazda did not have the CX5 AWD Turbo Signature in the color that I desired. The sales "team" members were Wyatt, Israel, Ricky, and Matt. Spreen Mazda Best Price Certificate is deceptive. They didn’t disclose over $4,000 in junk fees which included Window Etch and something else I never requested and would never need.
Bait and Switch tactics.
Called about a vehicle I was interested in. Spoke with Chris for 2022 Mazda 3 Hatchback. He pushed me to drive hundred of miles today to purchase the car. I asked him what the price was out the door and he instead asks me "how much do you want to pay?".

Very deceptive practices. I contacted dealership regarding purchasing a vehicle. I was told it was in stock, and the salesman e-mailed me a "Best Price Certificate" which listed the MSRP along with a dealer discount. It listed the VIN # of the vehicle and a date the price would be good until. After calling to confirm the vehicle was still in stock, we drove 75 minutes to dealership. Own a 2019 cx5; makes noises every time I hit the brake or car starts to move; so obvious and loud that can not be ignored. Brought the vehicle to them for the noise. Not sure what they actually did but keep saying there is no noise. Imagine you go to a doctor complaining of cough and he tells you, no you don’t have cough but I checked your toes!

I did not get the car with the features I requested. The car was promised on one day, delivered, three days later. Sales people did not keep me updated.
We bought a 2015 Mazda 3 on December 18th. Sales and Financial departments worked with us to obtain the vehicle price within our budget. Paperwork preparation was timely. Service department is currently resolving a tire pressure sensor issue with our vehicle. We are confident it will be resolved by the dealership this week.
Dario was extremely responsive and attentive to our requests for purchasing our new CX-5. I spent 5 days negotiating with multiple dealers and Spreen and Dario came up with the best deal.
Always take care of us. Very helpful and professional. This dealership has always treated us well. We have purchased 2 cars from there that we absolutely love. We always take the car for service there because they make it easy and convenient.
I do my best to never deal with sales people or sales managers, and only talk invoice with a fleet manager.
but since i tried going with the costco program, i gave it a shot, and warned them I only wanted to talk invoice, and will NOT fall prey to the various attempts at padding the purchase with BS upgrades or financing shenanigans.

Great experience! I was able to negotiate the deal entirety over the phone and email and when I arrived the car was ready, we very quickly finished up the paperwork, and I was out the door in my new car. They also gave me the best deal I could find from many available dealerships. I live far away but it was worth the drive.

Would have been 5 star but sales manager left out critical information during the sales process. I know it was more of a finance department issue, but would have changed my mind in moving forward. He did not tell me about the new lease GAP coverage not being included in the payment. This is my 3rd Mazda lease and I have never had to purchase Gap insurance separately. I really liked the attention they gave me. But I would like some clear confirmation as I was told on the deal that I would have a full year subscription on SiriusXM radio but now I received is only for a month. Also you guys didn’t really give me a good deal when nothing was added as gap insurance or other deals. I literally just got the car. But overall good job thanks.

My Initial experience was o.k., as I was trying to get a deal closed before I arrived to pick up the vehicle. Upon Arrival I was informed that the paperwork had not been started, and that the Additional warranty that I had wanted was not part of the agreed price, nor was I given the opportunity to negotiate the "Dealer add-ons". The Vehicle ended up costing over $5000.00 more than what was advertised. This was a definite up-sell tactic. I was not pleased.

I went in to add apple car play to my 2015 Mazda 3. When I went in, they informed me that my car had a defect that was covered under a manufacturers recall. They handled it right there and then no charge on top of my Apple CarPlay, great service!

Mazda took over an hour and half to change one flat tire and got charged for the change of tire when I bought it there because it has warranty and it was supposed to be covered due to the type of damage of tire had. Honestly thinking of never going there again to get my vehicle serviced.

The service is friendly, good instructions and the car is nice, but the add on products are cheap. The door trim is so flimsy and put on so haphazardly, that it detracts from the looks of the car. I'll probably buy something else to go over it. I like the car and original deal, but not the dealer add on things. I’ve taken my vehicle to Spreen Mazda to have a basic service job. I appreciate the fact that they got me in on such short notice. I was disappointed after I paid for my vehicle to get the oil changed and tires rotated that I noticed that the tires were not rotated. I've been leasing since 2003 and by far the best experience ever. Absolutely no uncomfortable moments, honored everything that was discussed and agreed to over the phone. Hailee, Stacie, Abraham and Jimmy were extremely professional and a pleasure being attended to by.
Staff was very friendly. I was shown several additional options to add onto the sticker price but chose none. When the final deal was presented I didn’t like that they added two options at an additional cost calling them standard. They dropped the options and we made the deal.
Service was great and personable. No pressure to buy, comfortable process from salesperson, sales manager, to finance manager. Flexible pricing was appreciated, hailee and the salesman who did the walk around and showed me the cars feature during pick up was great.

The most important thing about this location Service Advisor (Phillip Guest) is that he will not have his mechanics do unnecessary work. Honesty goes a long way and for this, I will always be a loyal customer for as long as I own my Mazda.

I currently owned a 2011 Mazda 6 Sport that I had for nearly 8 years. During my lifetime of owning that vehicle, I never had any major issues other than standard maintenance, tire rotations, battery replacement and such. The Mazda 6 I owned reached about 110k before I had some issues. I needed some major repairs done, suspected the catalytic converters to have failed, needed new CV axles, and some gaskets replaced. I am still shocked at the horrible experience I had at this dealership. They misled us with the pricing not only on the website but for the hours we spent there. They added a sealant and security fee saying it was hardwired, but somehow not built into the original price.
